Our Fresh Start poverty fund is a fund designated towards those aged 17 and under. It is specifically for those who are either homeless, or affected by a family or loved one who is homeless.

You can apply for items to help improve a persons quality of life.

How much can I apply for?

The maximum for this fund is £50 per person.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The lead applicant must be either a; Company Limited by Guarantee, Company Limited by Shares, Industrial & Provident Society, Community Interest Company, Registered Charity
  • The grant must be used to advance the personal situation of a person in poverty, defined by us as someone at risk of homelessness, or homeless.
  • The grant must be delivered to a nominated person, 17 and under and who resides in England, Scotland or Wales.

There are a few things that cannot be funded, such as activities that have already taken place or been paid for, activities promoting political or religious beliefs and contributions to major appeals.

The current maximum individual grant is £50 per person. 

We aim to process applications within 24 hours and encourage you to ensure you fill out the application form in as much detail as possible.

The fund is setup to support individuals, however you must apply through a recognised organisation.

Yes, we are currently accepting new donations to the fund and would encourage you to donate to keep the fund running as long as possible.
