Our Fresh Start poverty fund is a fund designated towards those aged 15 and under. It is specifically for those who are either homeless, or affected by a family or loved one who is homeless or unemployed.

You can apply for items or activities to help improve a persons quality of life.

How much can I apply for?

The maximum for this fund is £50 per person.

Eligibility Criteria

  • A Company Limited by Guarantee, Company Limited by Shares, Industrial & Provident Society, Community Interest Company, Registered Charity
  • Organisation turnover under £250,000
  • The grant must be delivered to a nominated person, 15 and under and who reside in England, Scotland or Wales.
  • Upload your governing document that clearly shows your registered name
  • Upload a copy of a recent bank statement dated within three months, which clearly shows your registered name. (Feel free to cover sensitive information)
  • Upload your most recent annual report (skip this step if you're a new organisation)

There are a few things that cannot be funded, such as activities that have already taken place or been paid for, activities promoting political or religious beliefs and contributions to major appeals.

The current maximum individual grant is £50 per person. 

We aim to process applications within 24 hours and encourage you to ensure you fill out the application form in as much detail as possible.

The fund is setup to support individuals, however you must apply through a recognised organisation.

Yes, we are currently accepting new donations to the fund and would encourage you to donate to keep the fund running as long as possible.
